I am installing an Apexi world sport exhaust on my 95 Eclipse GSX and the hangers don't seem to fit right. I bought the exhaust on line and I think it was supposed to come with brackets but I never got them??? My question is does anyone have the directions or any information they could e-mail me or something cause I didn't get them neither. Thanks in advance.

the hangers ummm do fit. I used all the stock ones. The only one that i didnt use was the very last one in the back of car. Make sure that you take out the metal small "tubes" that are in the rubber hanger (the stock ones) then also can put some lube in the metal hanger to make it slide in there better. Good luck.

The front pipe of your cat-back has 3 male hangers, 2 up front and 1 in the rear, what side is the rear hanger on? The passengers side or the drivers side of the pipe? That hanger is my concern. And there are 2 male hangers on my muffler itself I had no problem with and another hanger that looks like you would use a bolt that's the one i'm having trouble with too. How did you mount the muffler? I don't want to be a pain but could you scan me the directions if you have them to [email protected]. Thanks in advance. :)

I, too, couldn't get the last hanger on top of the muffler to fit. Mine was shipped with a new bracket for this hanger, but it did not line up with any mounting points on the car, so I just left it out of the install. The other hangers on the muffler were fine, and it doesn't jump around.

I did have to rotate one of the rubber hangers on the car near the catalytic converter to line up with a hanger on the pipe, but other than that it fit fairly easily.

What do you mean rotate one of the hangers? Cause that's the one i'm having a problem with. Thanks.

The rubber hanger that I had to rotate is oval shaped, with two holes in it (one at each end, roughly). Kinda like this:

HTML:
 _______
/ \
| O O |
\_______/

One hole uses a mounting point on the car, and the other uses the hanger on the exhaust. I had to unbolt/loosen the mounting point on the car so that I could rotate the rubber hanger piece to line up with the hanger finger on the exhaust pipe. I can't remember whether it was a bolt that I loosened, or just a nut on a stud, or something similar. Hopefully you'll see what I mean and what you need to do when you look at it. That is, assuming this is indeed the problem that you're having.

As for finding a World Sport exhaust in the first place, I'm just as shocked as Denji. I had a ton of trouble back in July finding a vendor online who actually had one in stock (they all state that they sell them, but then you order/call them and it's "oh, they don't make them anymore"). Apexi makes a World Sport 2 exhaust series now, but they only have them for the non-turbo cars (60mm piping).

they are offering the world sport 2 for the turbo models. I called apex'i and asked them about it. The part number is 115KM01 (for all wheel drive dsms). They informed me that they discontinued the ws1 for turbo dsms before the non turbos, and that is why people keeps saying that.
