Can someone tell me which wires to splice together. Im missing the middle section/harness...

I pretty sure that i have to mach the colors, but on the harness is a white wire. Is this the ground wire. If so, do i splice that to the black wire on the timer. Also, some wires will not be used, correct?

-Does the big connector on the 2nd photo fit into the big connector on the 3rd photo?
-I'm not sure about the 2G, but I only hook up the parking brake wire, not the speed sensor wire.

no, actually there should be a harness that goes between that harness. In order for to get that harness i would have to purchase a whole new greddy TT

I just bought an Apexi Turbo Timer for my 1997 Eclipse GS-T. Apexi doesn't make a wiring harness for Mitsubishi so I was wonder if anyone knows what to do with the harness plug on the timer? How am I supposed to hook it up? Apexi's website is not exactly clear to me.

you dont have to have an apexi harness. buy a harness, hks or something there should be a list that tells what wires are what with it...i think. i didnt even use a harness i spliced into my factory wiring. you can do that with a chilton wiring diagram. but then again you dont really need a TT for a water cooled turbo.

Edit: the hks harness will plug right in with the apexi, so they say

Thanks guys. I was unsure of which harness would work for my vehicle and the Apex-i. I went ahead and purchaced the greddy harness so I'll let you know how it works out.

Does anyone know if a Blitz T/T Harness work with a HKS turbo timer?

The plug end for the car should be the same but check your parts and make sure the harness will connect.

It should work, I'm using a Greddy harness with an Apex'i TT. I'm pretty sure there all the same.

A couple questions, when wiring the SAFCII up to ECU whats the best way to do it? strip some coating from wires and sauder the safc wires.



I got a HKS Turbo Timer Type O and need help on installation, I got a SAFCII and cant seem to find a wiring diagram for it to hook it up to a 90 Talon. Also I got an A/F Ratio gauge off ebay from Glow SHift gauges and never got any instructions and their are 3 wires, Red Black and Gray. where do I hook the gray wire to I know the hot is red and ground is black.

Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Ok here goes. For the afc hook up. On the ecu plugs starting with the 10 pin one. Looking at the front of the plug the end that goes into the ecu, so the top your looking at is the clipping part. You follow so far. The bottom left is tha ground the one right beside it is the ignition power.(its to the right) On the 18 pin plug looking at it the same way. Counting from the left side, count to your right 4 pins in the top row and that is your rpm signal. Now the big 24 pin plug looking at it the same way. Top row counting from the left to right. 4 over is the 02 sensor for the blue wire mod. 9 over is the knock sensor. 10 over is the airflow sensor. And on the bottom row counting from the left to right. 7 over is the throttle signal. Now red wire is the power, green wire rpm, purple wire knock signal,gray wire throttle signal,grown is a ground along with the black, dont twist together just ground the brown and right up form that ground the black, yellow wire is the airflow, and the white is a second airflow.( dont worry about this). ther you go.

If you are unsure of your capability, or would like a little extra cushion for possible mistakes instead of right there at the ECU, I would recommend harness' built for these, I bought teh ECU patch harness from MACHV b/c I am running a whole bunch of crap to the ECU like that, And I did not have much room for all of my connections, it is pricy, but in my situation, it made my installs much easier. Line up the pins on the connector, then you can tee and solder, avery connection out side of the car ( garage, bedroom, bathroom, etc..) then go over everything 3 times. then jsut plug the patch inbetween the ecu and teh wiring harness.

Also, $15 is not much, so go ahead and get a TT install harness. That way, you KNOW you will NOT screw up anyhting, and it takes longer to open the package than install the TT itself.
