Hi I just bought my DSM and the previous owner said the Apexi tt just stoped working! I just wondered if anyone could help me out with some ideas why it would do this. Thanx a lot for your time!:talon:

Hi thanx for replying. It's a 91 TSI AWD. Thats what I was wondering if it was a connection. I havn't checked because it's mounted on a carbon fiber panel and I have to practicly take apart the dash so I just wanted to check if this has happened to anyone else before. Thanx again.

I guess thats ###### stupid on my part. I think i'm going to tear into it today and check all the connections.

so here is the thing. The guy didn't hook up the grey wire to the e-brake and the white wire for the o2 sensor. Neither of those should stop it from working. Everything else seems fine. I know it's getting power because my EDFC is run from the the same power wire as the tt. I know this shouldn't effect it though because it used to work before with the same set-up. So I'm stumped, unless someone has some advise or a wiring diagram for a 1G. Thanx again for your time.

well either it totally broke and took a crap on your have you tried hooking up everything likes it suppost to be and see if that works?? hook up the wire to the E brake, hook up the other wire to the RPM sensor (at least that is what it is on the greddy TT)

so I tracked down the problem, it seems the EDFC and the TT are not run off the same power wire. The power wire for the TT was snapped so I fixed it and now my car won't start. my alarm sounds really messed up and it acts like it blew a fuse but i checked all of them(including the ingnition fuse) and they are all fine. i dissconected the battery while I was working on the wire and when I hooked it back up the car will not even turn over.
