I just got my header jet coated and figured while the header was out I would upgrade my O2 housing from the stock T-25 (which bolted up to my 3" Apexi Downpipe), to a Evo 3 O2 housing to match my Evo 3 16g. The Evo O2 housing matches the Evo turbo great, I can't believe that I was actually using the T-25 housing on that turbo...

Anyway I put everything together and now the DP won't bolt up to the Evo housing. Is there a special gasket/spacer that 2g guys need for the Evo 3 O2 housing to Apexi 3" DP? WTF? GRRRRRRR Now I have to either run no DP/exhaust tell I can figure it out, or not run the car....

Can you run the car with no DP/exhaust? Just let it go from the O2 housing to atmosphere? Very temp of course, tell I can get the spacer/gasket. YES YES YES I know it will be stupid loud, but no louder than the CRX's that are running around here with straight pipe exhaust...

So can anyone tell me why my Evo3 O2 housing won't bolt up to my 3" Apexi DP? Is there some special angled exhaust spacer that I need? Please help, my dp is rubbing on my Oil pan right now... :thumbdown

Sorry bro, you gotta hack up your DP flang (i.e. have it rewelded to the new angel). No other way around it that I have heard of. RRE makes special DPs angled for the EVO O2 housing but everything else that I know of is angeled for stock or eclipse specific aftermarket housing.

The evo o2 housing is at a angle. Unlike the stock one that points down. On Mach v they said if you open up the slot on the downpipe it will fit alittle better.
