Apexi downpipe with Thermal r&d

Well i ordered a thermal r&d for my car but what i am not sure about it is that will it fit my 3'' apexi dp, or do i have to do any cutting and welding?

If your down pipe is the cat delete like mine it will be fine as long as your exhaust is 3". If the exhaust is 2.5 or 2 1/4 then you would need a reducer but I'm sure you ordered the correct one.

Yeah the dp is the cat delete one, and the exhaust was ordered 3''. Thanx that puts me to ease cause i don't really wanna pay extra to have it cut and welded it again.

It's 2.5 inch flanged from the cat...

The Apexi downpipe is about 3" longer than your stock downpipe/convertor combo. It is designed to mate to their exhaust only. In order to mate it to your Thermal you will have to cut the midpipe and weld a flange to it. If your Thermal was like mine it is necked down to 2.25 at the convertor. No sense going from 3"-2.25"-and back to 3". Modify it.
