apexi afc neo problem

so i bought my car with a apexi afc neo and if i disable it, every time i floor it it runs super rich and my car wont go any higher than 4k. it just bounces at 4k. what do u think is wrong? i think the person who owned it before me put bigger injectors or sumthing fuel related because it turns super rich...

oh yeah and my afc neo is set to take away alot fuel. it starts out low then ends up at around -48

If you put all that together...it sounds like you do indeed have bigger injectors. If you want to disable it, you will have to have another method of tuning those bigger injectors, such as DSMlink. The advantages that dsmlink has over a neo are numerous. I haven't messed around with an SAFC at all so I can't tell you what size injectors you have based on how much your SAFC is adding, but I'm sure someone in here could at least offer a reasonable guess.

It's there to compensate for the larger injectors. If you disable it, you simply have larger injectors on the stock ECU....which your car doesn't like very well.

Its setup to take away a lot of fuel to compensate for the bigger injectors, you're flooding your cylinders causing the car to run like crap. I'd suggest leaving the SAFC how it came, its there for a reason.

ok so i looked at the injectors and they look stock to me they r the black top with grey bottom... and i noticed that my fuel pump is wired directly to my battery...

Your Going to need more then just Ecmlink to run it.

You also need a Eprom Ecu or to have your non Eprom Ecu converted to eprom by them.

In the mean time if you intend on driving/runing the car with anything aside from stock injectors in it You need to set the AFC back to what it was... It's not an advisable means to get a tune but regardless it's better then dumping the fuel you are in it now... .
