Well i've been on celica GTS, WRX's and many hondas and acuras and they ride pretty damn good compared to my 2g eclipses crappy ride.

What's the best set-up for a good ride quality 2g GST?

A well-matched springs and shocks combo OR coilovers. My best friend has an Apex'i Coilover system in his 97 GST and the car rides so damn better than my GSX with KYBs and Espelir Active Super Downs.

^Apex'i World Sport Dampers??

Yes.

The car hardly has rebound and still corners like it is on rails. I'll get one for my GSX as soon as Im done with my other power mods. His GS-T feels alot more civil than when it was on Tokico/H&R springs combo.

Are you talking about still keeping you're stock springs? If so I want to know as well, I hate how this car rides (2g) and don't want to lower it either.

I have somewhat of the same question...I as well am looking for a better ride and am just about ready to get Shocks/Struts/Springs but I donno if I'm really ready to spend $1000 on that (AKA TEIN or Apexi full adjustable...)

There any decent setups that will make my car ride nicely?

Might I suggest some Koni Sport shocks and a set of H&R OE Sport Springs. Great feel for aggressive driving and comfterable and quiet for daily driving. The combo only drops the car about 1" or maybe a little bit more. Down side is the Koni Sport Shocks ("Koni Yellows") are between $500-$600 for the set of four. Since you won't need a camber kit, the total cost will be around $700 if you install them yourself.

there is a rule that everyone should follow but normally people do not:

You get what you pay for.

If you want a good ride and good handling, get - Tein SuperStreet Adj. Full Coil-overs - I've found them for $900 or less shipped.

They drop the car about 1.5 inches and are probably the best set up for the money. They replace the stock shocks and springs and are full adjustible from the TOP, you can change them for long rides or track visits. Save your cash and do it right the first time.

Do you actually have these to vouch for them, or are you just repeating what everyone else who doesn't have them always says?

This is the first DSM i've owned, but i've had an Integra GSR with Tein SS and yeah, they're amazing. I haven't put them on my GSX yet because i have school to pay off.. Flight school isn't cheap - I was out about 38K this year.. They will be put in after i get some more speed mods done first.

thanks for the inquery.. i know a lot of people are like "yeah i've heard they were good so get them" but first hand on a honda, they're tight...and i'm assuming that they'd be just as good on a more powerful/better car! ;)
