Anyone using a EBAY fpr??

Why are DSMer's so cheap? Why on earth would you consider running something like this when you know its failure could cost you an engine, or worse a fire? Lets say something happens and you get a fuel leak at 80-100 mph on the freeway and your car catches on fire? Would you buy a garage sale helmet for track days?

I know, right. I remember when there weren't a shitload of parts for us. Now we have all these great parts and people think they're all to expensive.

Morons.

Every time I skimp on getting quality parts, it bites me in the ass. Every new, name brand part I've bought has fitted and has not blown or failed on me. This is a bad place to skimp, almost as bad as that helmet two posts back:tease:

I have a afpr on my car its aeromotive, from sbr. I would just do it right the first time, I learned that the hard way spending hundreds of dollars it could be more but i do 99% maintence on my car myslef. I'm not saying that ebay stuff is inferior but its your car. I guess its your car, but why take chances with the fuel, i can see other things but fuel is very important. just my opinon.

I've run an eBay AFPR for 3 years now on my FWD without a single problem. It was $40 and works just as it should. I won't hesitate to get another one for my AWD build here in about 2-3 months.
