I kind of want to replace all my seats in my car with racing seats, including the rears, and make it so its still able to hold back passangers, or so that ppl can still get in the back easily. If anyone has... PICS PLZ!!!! And setup too .

I have thougt of that. I think it would be pretty cool. I would also put them and my killer sound system (the one I don't have) on brackets so you could just pop them out if you want to loose some weight. You should also face them back to give your passengers more leg room. Plus it would really freak them out in the corners.

Yes, I would like to still be able to hold back seat passangers and have stuff in my trunk, thats why I can't aim them backwards. Mostly because my Subs take up the entire trunk.

Please guys, help me out, ideas or anything would help me, I really want this to work because I am attempting a 12 speaker stereo system (only 2 are subs), and in order for me to easily mount the last two speakers, I want to put them in their own custom inclosure in the gap btwn the two rear racing seats (once they are put in)

You would pretty much have to cut the car in half and extend it to have leg room. Most racing seats would not fit. You may be able to fit 1 in the back, sideways and seat someone.

i think the racing seat would sit up too high and would touch the ceiling...or have to be cut off to even fit....

I found racing seats that fit in the back, they are like low back seats instead of the high back racing seats... but I really wanna know how to set this up, I been trying to plan and the best I did was I would have to find a seat mount that allows me to flip the entire front seat forward, and mount the backs directly into the flor or on just one thin rail, but how do I mount the racing harnesses... because the seats I am going to atleast try to use, they don't exactly allow a stock seatbelt to be used too well.

I think the rear belts would be pretty easy. I am sure there is somewhere reasonably strong right by the rear hatch to mount the shoulder harness to. You might have to unbolt them though if you want to take out your subs. The other question is what are you going to mount the front belts to. Maybe weld some big steel plates to the roof and mount them there. Or you could get a mini futon stick it back there and just use it for special occasions.

Well someone here once showed a bar that goes across your car btwn the front and back seats to connect to, I figure if I mount that high enough.... jerry rig it way up near the roof... than maybe I would have a good spot for the fronts, the backs will be easy as pie.

That is exactly the sort of thing I am trying for... but I want it to be able to fold up the front seats so that I can let ppl in the back. You guys might find it dumb to want to keep the backs, but see... I AM 17, I have friends, and me and my friends do alotta stuff like going out to eat together, and me being the one with the nice car.... I hate riding with other ppl, but everyone loves my car, so its cool to them to ride with me. So, yeah, thats why I need to still be able to hold 4.

Well, to tell you guys the truth they aren't full out race seats if that what you guys have in mind... they are more like... sport street seats??? i dunno how else to put it, they aren't like drag race only seats you know...

Hate to say it buddy, but the racing seats in my car make it almost impossible to have people in the back seats already (my midget friend is quite comfortable however)

Racing seats take up alot of room in the 1g interior, there wont be room for them to sit side by side, and they would definitly rub against the ceiling, (my racing seats are pretty close to touching the ceiling, but that could be because my brackets suck)

anyway, it would be cool, but there just isnt room in our cars. Id get a nice set of front seats that can recline forward easily and keep the stock rears, though its still going to be cramped
