1G Anyone know what goes here? (rear hatch area)

I was wondering what goes here? I have the factory rear cover so I know that's not it. Any ideas? thanks!

There are little holders that get screwed into that area to hold the privacy cover up when hatch is closed

My car came with the privacy guard and It's installed. The rear clips are there and the front is held up by string to the hatch. Was there another set up of clips for the front? Wouldn't it just operate with the tethered string?

My car has holders there for cover to rest on. Thats the only thing Ive ever seen them for. I have never seen them plugged like yours. What kind of model do you have?

1994 Eclipse GSX, yeah, mine doesn't rest on anything. I'm sure you're right though.

It's just a little plastic piece that holds the privacy cover in place. Like this:
