Anyone Know The Seat Fabric Weight?

I want to use Rit Dye to dye the grey cloth seats in my 96. I'm going to be pulling the fabric/cloth/seat covers off the seats of course. However to buy the right amount of dye I need to know how much the fabric weighs when pulled off the seats.
All 3 seats of course.

Anyone have an idea?

No one is gonna have that info on here man, I would guess all fabric together front and back seats no more than 7 lbs, probably closer to 5 lbs, but that's probably the best answer your gonna get on here.

My 1g seat fabric weighted 6 and a quarter pounds. Not a 2g but should be close

I dyed my carpet from gray to black (did 3 coats as I remember) and just from getting in and out and some water and things it faded to purple. And at times it would bleed on your socks and such, just something to think about.

Did you use a paint/spray can?

I'm using Rit dye which a lot of people have good results with and will be soaking it all for a couple days.

I used rit dye on my carpet held up ok so far , But did not get to use the car much.(since it is always broke )

Yea, I've talked to numerous people who've used Rit with great results. I'm gonna do it this week before I go out to the car on the weekend to work on it.

I removed the carpet from the the car and did 3 complete dyes. No paint, I did the real die. I wonder if there's any way to seal it.
