anyone know how to make an LED kight bar?

Are you serious??? Is this going on your DSM? Anyway, I remember seeing them for sale at JC Whitney. Not sure if they still sell them. On another note, I've seen a guy who made his black Trans Am look like KITT, chasing light and all, running around in NE Philadelphia. Don't think it's bulletproof, though.

I know Varad makes such lights as alarm accessories for the interior, but I think it's smaller than what you are looking for. They're blue too.

I test drive a 50th anniv. edition of the 300zx. It had a female voice that would tell you your door was ajar and that you left your lights on.
I think it had about the same switch/button count as KITT too,

Varad has a 12 inch one and a 6 inch one that changes 600 colors and comes with a lil control box to make it scan, strobe, beat to the music, be solid on all kinds of things.

my roomie, whos a crazy ass EE major thinks this crap up in his sleep and designed a circuit from scratch (which we built into a 16 light knight rider for a ford LTD) I can see if he can take a pic or scan the schematic he made, then you can build it to run whatever lights you want.

Radioshack LEDs, my favorite being teh 2600mcd blue. The hardest part will be the locating a schematic, or taking apart a pre-assembled one and making it to your liking.

I agree, but a lot of people flip out about an old thread being revived. On a different forum I even had a moderator tell me he was warning me for reviving a thread only a year old, that it was bad netiquette.
