I got my bodywork done at a shop in Inglewood called Sal's body shop. I think they did an awesome job. just pm me for more info if you want to contact them k.

Oh wow I just bought those, the rdora side skirts from someone selling them on dsmtrader, I was also going to need to install them but I fitted them on and they looked GREAT man I wish I could put them on, but then noticed my car is way to dropped,2.5", and the front tip and rear tip slop down and it was not even 1 inch of the floor. Wish i knew how to work on fiberglass, I would cut the bottom straight so there wouldnt be a down slop on the ends, then they would fit great.

Kinetic boost How much did they charge you?

you pretty much should tape the sides. let a good ody shop do it, they will make it fairly seemless. its a shame your not on the east coast, i know a few guys. most shops advise not molding the sides, its too much work and eventually they will just spyder anyway.

The stock body parts bolt up, right? Can't you modify those pieces to mount up to teh stock mounting points?

or do we use 3M tape with the stock body parts?

sometimes it is a little of both.

well my car is not very liked on dsmtuners becuse alot of people think that im mutalating it. but i have the rodora sides, i had them completly molded (do not do this if you want to drive the car on a regular basis) and extended, so that they wrap around the fender to the other side..
here are some pictures...

it's hard for me to tell you how much it was to do the sides becuse the price was all combined for everything that's been done to the car... from what the body guy told me the sides were not that bad to install.. if you take them to a company that installs alot of kit's then they should have no problem with it at all.. before the kit was molded, it was attached using screw's, the same way that he does all his kit's (this is the third car that i have had him do, and i have never had a problem). obviously the area's that can't be screwed on were connected using a apoxy.
fianally after 2 years of working on the car, we are on the home stretch.. the car goes in to start the interior this coming weekend.. im figuring the hole car will be done in about 4 to 5 mounths.... i will post some pictures of the hole car when she's done..

don't mold anything on your car if it's gunna be driven daily...

the reason that we are redoing the car is becuse of the paint... the paint had alot of flaws, it had fisheyes, runs (not bad) ect. ect. the guy that we had paint the car didin't know what he was doing, he painted the car in a dirty enviroment (there's dirt in the paint), he didin't remove any of the factory stickers (he just painted right over them). needless to say we didin't give him his money (i was extremly pist)..

this time when we decided to redo the car we decided that we were gunna go all out.. so the car is now gunna be a complete show car (trailor queen)
my wife has already gave me the go ahead, when we finish this car up, im gunna be getting a 1st gen to go all out race.. i love to race but i also love to show, the problem with that is when you race you can mess things up, that's something that were not willing to risk after we have put this much money into it..

as far as the comment about having all this money... i don't have alot of money.. i work two full time jobs to support my hobby's (saltwater tanks is the other one). the money from the one, go's to pay bill's. and the other pays for the goodies.. this is why the project has taken 2 years already..

oh yea.. that front end is for sale if your interested, along with the fog light's.. trust me, i will give anyone who want's it one hell of a deal..

it's tuff for me to tell you how to do it, im no body guy. refer to my first post, that's how he did mine.. if i could recomend a shop for you, i whould. seeing as im on the other side of the country, it's kinda hard...

i wish you luck, and trust me the end result it very nice, i love these sides...

you can use this type of "glue" the thing is, if you ever want them off, you will need to chisle them off.. im "gluing" my low rise blitz's on and possible a little 2 side tape but i doubt it.. we will prob just glue it.

so if you dont mind never having your car sideskirtless again or dont mind chisling them off and gettng new body panals because it will ruin them.. then glue the bitches
