Hello,

i have a stripped oil feed hole in the head. I'm re-routing my feedline to OFH.

I was thinking of trying to use liquid metal to plug that hole up! I tried using it on my exhaust manifold before and it came out good, however, i haven't had the chance to test it in practice just yet.

I was going to start patching it up on the sides, letting it cure and just building on from there.

Just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with liquid metal, especially on the head?

PS, i realize that there are other ways i could use to patch the hole up.

If there are still threads for it to bite to somewhat I would just JB-weld a regular bolt in there. It won't ever come out if everything was cleaned and sterilized beforehand.

Liquid metal expands a bit differently than aluminum...

That's a good point.. didn't think about that!

Yeah, the regular bolt on JB weld might be a better idea. Thanks a lot fellow dsmers!! I'll make you guys proud.
