i really like how autometer cobalt gauges look at night but i was wondering, are they too bright at night? i didnt get an aftermarket reverse lit gauge cluster because i didnt want bright blue to be hurting my eyes at night, red/orange is very easy on the eyes. so yeah i was wondering if any of you have cobalt gauges and if theyre kind of too bright or not a problem at all. i plan on putting them in my center vent if i get some too so it probably wouldnt be as bad as up in front of my face on the column.

Go with whatever color you like, and hook them up to a dimmer so you can turn it down a bit if it's too bright.

I got an Autometer Cobalt boost gauge. Before my foot got tangled in with the gauge lighting wire and I ended up ripping it out of the connector, the bright blue wasn't harsh on the eyes at all.

agreed. I have the reverse gauges, and both a cobalt boost and a cobalt a/f gauge (I know, I know). I don't drive too much at night, but I haven't had any problems.

on the cobalt a/f is their 1 wire for positive 1 wire for negative and 1 for the o2 and thats it or are there more for the blue backlighting

1 wire for power, 1 wire for 02 signal which is tucked way up back by you glove box,1 wire for your lights, and 1 for dimmer I believe. It's been a while since I have looked but it works and looks great.
