Hey all,

When I start the eclipse up it kind of stumbles a bit until it is warmed up.. Well if I drive t around town it idles fine and all when I stop at like a light or stopsign, but if I actually drive it on the freeway and get up to a good speed, when I slow down to stop and push in the clutch the car will idle at like 2500-3k RPM's and will not setle back down unless I let the clutch out some where it starts to catch.. Has anyone had this hapen to them and maybe know what it could be? Some sort of sensor going bad or what? Kind of a strange problem.. Thanks for any help

First thing to check would be the IAC, Idle Air Control Valve on the Throttle Body. They get gummed up. It is really easy to remove and just clean well with some gas or carb cleaner.

Okay I will try that out and see if it helps it out.. Just kind of wierd..
