Like the title says, I just replaced my 3 bolt today for a 4 bolt lsd. I broke 2 axles already with the 3 bolt in.

Basically just wandering if anyone ever blew the 4bolt or a axle and how much power they were making and what they did to break it.

Talondave did at the end of last year. Not sure what his secret was, but I'm sure it had something to do with leaving the line ridiculously hard with four QTP's on a low 10-second car with the stock 140k-old rear end.

Its hard to believe that outta everyone on this forum we only have one guy whos broke a 4 bolt rear or axle. Basically my question is should i have any issues breaking rears or axles.

Power?

Tires?

I got about 20 passes on the 4 bolt it feels really solid coming out of the hole. I can actually feel that the car is more solid with the 4 bolt.
