Hell No!

My Plans On my 1.8!

4G32 Manifold
Turbo
2.5 Inch Exhaust To The Back Hell Maybe 3"
Type RS Exhaust
Turbo Elbows and all the Goodys
Greddy S BOV

Low Boost, But any Boost will Help a slow 1.8 Right?

Tranny Wise
New Tranny Since i have no 3rd Gear

If anyone Has any Pointers and anything else i may Need HELP b/c this is a Long Process :dsm: WTF

Dude, even if you do turbo your car, it would probably blow up anyway. Then you will really see those Honda guys laughing at you. :D Here is a tip save some money, sell that 1.8 and then go buy a turbo. Then go race some Honda's. :thumb:

i was gonna turbo my 95 Eclipse GS but decided it was gonna be too much money and sold it. found a 91 Eclipse GSX m/t with 122K completely stock. Made some money on the deal and got and awd turbo in return. :thumb: easier way to go.

hey before spending all the money on beefing up the 1.8l, see if you can find a gst that has been wrecked *back end or side perferably* and yea... there u have a swap waiting to happen, it has all the parts you need, and you can upgrade stuff while you have the engines pulled. Thats if you 1.8 body is in very good condition...

keep your car and appreciate it for what it is (fuel efficient, sporty looking, etc.), or sell it and buy a turbo.

the 1.8L engine is rated at 92 horsepower. that is what you're starting with BEFORE the turbo. you'll need a lot of mods to get it up to even 200 horsepower, since you're more than doubling the stock output of the engine. probably won't be too reliable either. if you have enough money for putting a turbo on your 1.8, then you should have enough to just go ahead and sell your car and buy a turbocharged model.
