Anybody up for a meet in the Charlestown/Martinsburg area?

Its legit, I'll be in a red Chevy truck with my talon on a trailer. See you guys March 4th. maybe we should pm some cell numbers or something? Im bringing 2 way radios if any of you guys have em, bring em. they're awesome to communicate while staging.

Yeah,it blows. Its gone for good. Its supposed to be vacant for 5-6 years or so,then its gonna be a housing development. I *think* Capitol is closer than MIR,MIR is about 2-2 1/2 hours from here.

If the last few test and tunes and Mason Dixon are any indication of how busy its going to be this year,its REALLY going to suck. All five lanes full,and calling cars up in even and odd numbers based on the number on your windshield.

Luckily,Mason Dixon is having test and tunes Saturday and Sunday in March and April,hopefully that will cut down on the crowd.
 
oh yeah. I will be there on the 4th. Try and drag my ass outta bed to meet up but if not I will see everyone there.

I'll be at Mason Dixon, however I won't be at the meet due to the sticker issue. List of who's showing up at the racetrack after the meet??
 
Im only showing up at the meet because its on my way to the track.
 
I think the gates open at 10:30 and racing starts at 11:00. I'll be there at 10:30, sometimes the inspection line is a bi***.
 
Sounds good, I'm driving down with a bunch of friends and I think we're leaving the house around 9:30 so i'll be getting there when you do. Looking forward to a great time! I hope I can get a damn 11... I bet my girlfriends dad $100 that my car would go 11's. LOL
 
my buddy ran his bone stock gs-t and was in the high 14's low 15's with some traction problems
 
See, my logic is; I ran a 13.0 on a big 16 with an safc, no cams, and 5 degrees of timing advance at 6500rpm because my knock sensor was all fugged up. So, with a 20g, hks cams, dsmlink, 26psi, race gas, and 22 degrees of timing advance I think i'll hit an 11. LOL
 
Good luck with that. I was running 12.9s with stock cams and having to force it in second gear. I now have TRE race tranny, and HKS 272's so we'll see.

That would be me:cool: I'm down for the track, not sure about the meet yet. I'd have to leave Romney at like 6:30 to be there by 8:00. Make sure you guys all park together at the track, that'll look sweet:thumb:
 
Sweet then, is yours an auto or manual? I was thinking we could go down the road side by side, talons with talons, 1g's with 1g's, you know, with style. And definitely park together. Maybe somebody could help me tune up my car? I know nothing about cars, but I want to learn so damn bad. Even the how to's on here tell me to locate stuff that I don't know what it is. I at least want to do the free mods (read: I am broke). The car just seems to have lost it's edge, and I want to make it powerful again. Hope to see you all there, if not at the store than at least at the track. I've got a couple of people from DSMCA meeting us, whether at the track or Wal*Mart, but we should have a decent turnout.
 
It's a manual. What free mods have you already done? Did your car seem to all of a sudden lose power, or after you changed/modded something on it? My car's all black with chrome rims, it looks faster than it really is;)
 
I haven't done any mods at all, don't know how. No, it didn't seem to just "lose power", but over time. My fiance's dad used to own it, and I remember riding in it with him and it seemed like a rocket, now it just seems like a semi-fast car.
