anybody ever install a water pump ?

going to be putting a water pump in my car tomorrow...

anybody ever install one?? do i have to remove the timing belt or can i do it w/o having to take that pain in the butt thing off ??

You will have to take the timing belt off. Make sure to follow Vfaq.com!

The waterpump might not be on there but once you get in there you should know whats goin on. This is a hella project so don't bend those valves! good luck!

well i just did a headgasket job 2 weeks ago...... so i know how to rip it all apart just cant remember if i have to take the tbelt off or not.... want to try getting around it. (hate that stupid tensioner)

haha damn tensioner! Yep sucks, but you have to take the belt off. Let us know how it goes! later
