So i'm sure a few of you have seen my thread in the newbie forum Mr. BlackForest Co even posted on it
. but to sum it all up. I have a 90 tsi awd 5sp that is torn into pieces. I have no idea what all it needs to get going. I don't know any dsm'ers that are willing to take a few hours of their time to try and go over some things with me. I got the car as a tow away. Was told it probably had bent valves. Tore the engine apart and cant find a damn thing wrong with it. I know that it definately had a problem, but not sure what the problems were. I should have done more investigation before i tore it apart. I live in Aurora off i225. And the car is located about 15 minutes east of me at a friends parents house. Plenty of room. I have a whole shed pretty much to myself with all my parts layed out in it. They have 2 acres and they really are the coolest people ever but the car has been sitting for 2 years and I need to get it out of there. If anybody knowledgeable with dsm rebuilds is willing to help me go over some things it would be very much appriciated! I can supply transportation, food, drink, smoke or whatever it takes. Thanks guys. And i'll post a few pics so you know what i'm workin with haha.

Balance shaft belt was in 1 piece when I pulled the engine. It was pretty brittle and broke after the engine was already out.
Also, when I originally sold this car to my friend it had stock wheels and tan leather interior. When I got the car back it had 4 black dummy wheels and black and grey cloth interior. Once I know the car is running, I am going to be looking for stock wheels and tan leather to get it back to the way it was
