Any way to identify what cams I have?

I purchased a 1G car from an upset parent. Apparently their kid couldn't drive normal so they sold his car. The motor has AEM cam gears on it so I assume it probably has cams in it as well. The idle isn't loppy but it doesn't idle that great anyway.

How would I be able to determine if the car has aftermarket cams in it?

Take them to a machine shop to get them measured.

Doesn't HKS or FP have a serial or label on them at all?

just because cam gears were thrown onto it doesnt mean it has aftermarket cams in it. cam gears are a lot cheaper than cams. but maybe u got lucky and they are aftermarket cams

Pull the valve cover and look for a part # and post it on here.
