What cams have i bought??

well, I have just received some supose to be comp cams(264/272), that i bought here to a member, the problem is that they don´t have any 101-100 or 101-200 stamped on them even they don´t have the CWC comps use to have...

The things they have stamped are this:

I´m almost sure that they are not COMP cams, someone has said me they could be BC?? someone with BC could confirm ??

They might be BC's but judging by the etching they are 280's not 264/272, as far as I know BC doesn't make a 264/272 combo, only 272, 280 or 288. 272's are 0101, 280's are 0102 and 288's are 0103.

Should i buy valve springs and install that cams?? or sell them and buy anoher kit??

they are an atermarket cam.

Well, i think i´m going to buy another ones.
I only have a FP T28 so, nd they are a STAGE 3!! cams so i think i should have bigger turbo or ""smaller cams""
I´m trying to sell them here in Spain

You could by the BC spring/retainer kit for the 280's(if that's what they are) but your T28 will run out of steam long before the cams do. My advice is to sell them and get cams more appropriate to your turbo set-up. I hope this was helpful and good luck to you.

Well seller told me that he have had them instaled and they are not 280´s, imposible, so i´m going to buy springs and retainer(my girlfrined borrow me the money ) and install them
If they re 280, when i start the engine, idle should be at least 1000rpm for 280´s, and 850 for 272 i think, thats the only way to be sure
Then if they are 280´s i´ll sell them, and if the iddle is ok i will asume that they are 264 272, and by the moment and till i return to have money i´ll keep them

Those look like a set of regrinds. I had a set of 280's from delta cams and they looked just likes yours. I really like the cams though.

The only way to be sure what size they are is to measure them.

how do you measure them? and what are the specs? i have calipers and a dial gauge, but curious as to how to measure it and the measurements. Also, my cams are already installed on my motor thats on a stand.
