Moving back to San Francisco soon and was wondering if there are any DSM groups that meet in or near San Francisco?
 
keep posted for a santa cruz meet.

also check out the BOTI thread, i know a bunch of us will be out for that
 
Hopefully it happens sad to say but it seems the only bay-area dsm meet that usually gets allot of turn out is the Stinson beach meet. So if you missed the Stinson beach meet you missed every dsm meet for the rest of the year. Hopefully Santa Cruz meet gets allot of people to come out though.
 
i'll tell you why weekly meets never work out..because there are like 15 dsmers that post. thats why!..haha

if you guys want to go to weekly meets the biggest one is in milpitas on friday nights, it's called the Bubbles Meet. every friday at about 10ish until at least 1am. There are all sorts cars there, lots of: evos, s2k, subarus, 350z, bmw, nsx, honda, and some z06's. Check it out if you want to go to to a big meet weekly. Easily 100 cars out there all the time. Find me there!

Oh and about Santa Cruz...the only thing that holds people back from wanting to set that up is we don't know how good of a driver people are. If this does happen, we will be setting up a route that involves lots of backroads, and once those are invovled, things get iffy
 
modded + milpitas = unhappy

the other reason we didn't do a santa cruz run last year was because we heard there was a police crackdown the previous weekend, if i remember correctly.
 
ruben patel! that meet is hella chill. the cops come by but everyone knows not to do stupid stuff and we're there past 1am every weekend. so don't worry
 
there's a place over there called bubble tea i think. thats why it's called Bubbles meet.

there aren't that many dsmers in the bay that go out to meets. ever wonder why you never hear of the fast ones? that's because they keep to themselves more. i suggest you meet at bubbles since it's already going strong and you don't have to start something new. just my suggestion. i'll be at bubbles...aka McCarthy Ranch

dude, i go to that meet every friday! i never see you there, do you drive your dsm? Where do you post up? I always park by the entrace by the subarus and acura kids usually park. Hit me up! And the meet is really chill, no cop trouble no dumbas$es. Give it a try people :thumb:

um, from what i know im the only dsm out there (besise a red 1gen talon)so yes hahaha :thumb:

hmm...maybe i'll go to that meet once I can walk/drive again. And I'm in sf so i wouldn't mind meeting. Well once that walk/drive thing kicks in again. For now I'm stuck starring at my car. Well, I did install a new FMIC. But with a broken leg it took me like 3 hours. Lol...
 
I haven't really seen any fast dsm's in SF. All I've seen are the ricer ones that try to look fast (but aren't) and the stock ones that ppl not into cars drive.
 
OMG talk about the bubbles meet. The other night I came by alone to get a drink and I forgot my wallet! LOL I rolled by I had like 91234923-49 heads looking at me when I drove in then OUT. Talk about intimidating; they weren't welcoming faces either. :mad:
 
there were a few 2g's at the PINO (pleasanton in n out) meet tonight. a red one, a black one, and a gunmetal 2g (wassup crystal...sp?). there was also jared's s/c c6, a large turbo fd, widebody z06, and a couple other chill cars. there were a bunch of high school ricers talking about their 2.5" exhaust...pretty funny.

tomorrow night...we'll be out there. if anyone wants to roll through, just look for my eclipse
