any recommendations on where to get a 2g ecm

i have a 95 gs 2g that wont start and after a week and a half of chasing wires and pin tests ive come to the conclusion that i need an ecm.

does anybody recommend a certain company that sells the ecm for a fed spec, manual, 2.0L, nonturbo, fwd, build date 8/94?

Did you check Howell Automotive , maybe that will help you with your fix. I know thats what im putting in my 99.

As you probably have already found out, ECMTuning doesn't deal with 2g N/T ECU's.

I got mine from the local mitsu dealer.It wasnt cheap,but it wasn t a crappy reman.It cost me $425.Ive seen dozens of them at the junkyard,if you want to save money.

this just keeps getting better.
ive been having a hard time finding the right ecm. so i called dodge with the chrysler part number and they gave me the current reman p/n which is r4874191. i crossed that to a bunch of ecm web sites and its right, its a 95 gs n/t 2.0 fed emission std trans.
i noticed on my title that the car has changed hands 5 times in the last year so i called mitsubishi to make sure the ecm in the car is the original. they gave my different p/ns mo5293320 and r4882239, i crossed those to aftermarket ecms and they are for a car with an auto trans. now im wondering if someone swapped out the original drivetrain and started this whole mess.
does anyone know if i can use any of the other ecms for fed emission 5spd gs or does it have to be that specific p/n?

i found an ecm on ebay, chrysler p/n 5269622, its all the same specs as my car i just dont know if they are interchangable

Does your ECU have 1 plug or 2?

Then you can only use a 95 ECU, which has 1 big plug.

my question was can i use any ecm for a '95 gs 2.0 n/t fed emission std trans?

Correct, because the transmission has its own ecu. The rev limits might be different but that should be it.
