Any huge difference in 2.25 and 2.5" UICP?

I am about to install a Supra SMIC and the outlet is 2.5" but I was wondering if there is any real noticable gain between 2.25" and 2.5" UICP? It would be about $60 cheaper to get a 2.25"....dont want to sacrifice any power by doing that though

There shouldn't be a difference if any at all.

I'm using a 2.25" UICP with a Supra smic. It is just fine. Your airflow will neck down to 60mm or 52mm anyway depending on your TB.

don't forget to factor in the cost of the silicone reducer to go from 2.5 to 2.25. Depending on the manufacturer, the reducer can add significate cost over a straight connector.

This might help... I decided to use 2.5 inch piping on the supra smic since i have a 63mm TB which is 2.48 inches.

Whered you get 2.5" LICP? Dejon has 2.25" LICP...which is why I asked about having 2.25" UICP. Doesnt make sense to have 2.25 lower and 2.5 upper.

I bought a Pipeing kit from cxracing for 100$ and made my own pipes... Came with great couplers and tbolt clamps... And i still have enough piping to make another UICP And LICP... It was really easy...
