Any decent looking 1g taillights?

OK everyone here's the deal. I hate having stock headlights and taillights on my car. But unfortunately, i can only find one type of aftermarket taillight for the 1G eclipse and it looks horrendous.

What i really want to find is something which leaves the taillights split into two lines like stock but has clear lenses. Do any taillights like this exist? I won't stand for those ugly ass ones at andys auto sport, but stock is lame (hint, this means don't tell me to leave them alone) and tinting them black is ok but everyone and there dog does it. If nothing out there exists i guess ill just have to do the black tint thing but i was hoping for something a little more unique...

oh and on a side not if nothing like what i'm looking for exists does anyone know of a kit to make the turn signal sequential like a new mustang kinda? I have seen some done on youtube but no decent instructions on how its done.

edit- andys auto sport now carries ones that at least don't have the hideous oval lights in the center piece but i still don't care too much for the set they have which is from option racing. I know 1G guys seem to hate anything and everything that changes the appearance of their cars. However, i am one of those people who drives older (pre 1996) cars mostly because they are cheaper to buy and work on, and also because i can cut off the cat (i live in iowa so i can) without the computer throwing a hissy fit. But i like making my cars look like something other than a stock 20 year old car...

why don't you buy the one's at andys and just tint the middle one, or open it and mod it alittle, or try and mod the stock one's, yoy won't find anything decent for our cars, just altezza's or the carbon fiber style one's on ebay is your best bet. goodluck though...

Yeah, Paul used to have a flame thrower in his car...LOL

1g talon tails do look the best on 1gb's....

Headlights...There are a few different headlights that are out there for 1g's...There are black ones and clear ones...Both don't look bad...Not sure on quality yet, My set is still sitting in my bedroom..

It would require a lot of work, but I've tossed around the idea of doing an LED conversion and light up the center section. Something similar to the new Chargers while still keeping a stock look.

^^ Same idea :p

You could always do a full LED conversion if you want to truly be unique and have great looking lights. Or grab one of the ebay ones, get them warm, remove the transparent lense, replace the red ones on the stock and paint the top part with VHT Red tint? As long as you put the time and effort into it (including money unfortunately) you can always make what you want if it's not available.

Ok so i like the idea of Talon taillights with black tint, but searching around a bit it seems that in order to swap the Talon taillights you have to swap the center piece and bumper cover also. I was hoping i could get away with just swapping the taillights and then tinting everything black. Eventually i probably will do the Talon rear end swap but it's not a winter job in Iowa

I find it ironic though that you can pick out like 10 different styles of Altezza style lights for a Fox Body Mustang which has been long known as the "anti-rice" but now that i have a Japanese car i can't find a single decent set...

PS I don't want to "rice" my car out, i just hate when i get a nice car and then i go out for a cruise and see several which are basically identical. Plus, I love it when i pull up somewhere and even though my car is one of the oldest in the lot, it still gets more attention than some cars which cost 5 times more money to buy than i have invested in mine all together.
