Any body have an idea how to lower my car only ONE INCH.

just like it says all i want is ONE inch, all the kits i have seen are like 2 inches and higher ? anybody have anyideas ? i would like to stay on stock struts if possible and also not have to mess with camber , this is for my gsx
 
you wouldnt have to worry about camber if you got eibach prokit, just about 1.2 inches giver or take. otherwise i wanna say that some coilovers would allow you to only lower your car an inch but dont quote me on that.

its best that you do.. if your going to do anything to your suspension you mind as well go all out with it... not 1/2 ass. springs on the stock struts wonk mess anything up but the fact. i would change them... go to nopi.com they got some stuff..
 
it depends on your current shocks. If they are in good condition, then you will be ok for a while. Either way lowering your car is going to have an adverse effect on ur stock shocks, therefore shortening the life. If you have the money just go with Springs and Shocks. Eibach pro kit and tokico illuminas (5 way adjustable). lemme see like everyone in the world sells the eibach prokits. www.tirerack.com, and you could get a set of tokico illuminas for 372 shipped off of ebay.
 
Thanks i lookd a min ago and there not stock but i dont think there anything special. thanks guys
 
You should not run aftermarket springs with stock shocks. Stock shocks are not properly vavled to handle the higher spring rates found in aftermarket springs... with the possible exception of H&R OE springs.

If you think it's OK to run uprated springs with weak shocks or improperly valved shocks... get a pogo stick and use that to get around town instead. You'll get the point quick.

Haven't found springs that lowers only 1"? You haven't looked hard enough. H&R OE. 1" lowering.

H&R OE Sports have slightly higher rates than stock (although nobody can give me the specifics). They work well with both Koni Sports (smart choice) and Tokiko Illuminas (budget choice). And while you don't have to have a camber kit, the car will handle better if you put about two washers behind the upper rear mounts. This will cost $10 in parts and takes twenty minutes (assuming that you're changing the shocks and/or springs and have the rear wheels off).
