ran a search and there is nothing on the company. think this might be an alternative to the Translator? Seems to do the same thing except the tuning seems a little more complicated, or just need to learn how? doesn't seem to have low/med/high trim adjustment. just like a master adjustment. who will be the lab rat for this test :D one thing that i did like was the baro/temp sensor that they will sell soon. If that works we can at least wire it to the true translator and improve on the computers adjustments as it will have a true air temp reading instead of the generic fixed setting of the translator.

the maft is tried and true.and the generic temp and baro sensor keeps things the same so your tuning doesnt change when it gets cooler or hotter outside.

I like the sound of that. Most people have an AFC anyway so the tuning functions of the MAFT are not always needed. It has always bugged me that the air temp was capped.

When the air temp portion is available I'll pick one up.

Why does it bother you? The hotwire design of the GM MAF sensor compensates for temperature and pressure variations by its very nature.

The MAF itself is able to calculate temperature, but the MAFT does not... they made it a constant 85 deg i think. I guess it isn't a big deal, but I think the car cold started better when it knew that it was cold outside.
