another palm/datalogger question

ok so the car has a reprogrammed ecu and runs with a tuned AFC.... why do i see so many people gettin palms and dataloggers?? whats the big gain out of having one? thanks and sorry for the dumb question

Dataloggers are just that. They log data. The big gain is safety. You can see knock, timing, injector duty cycle, etc. I'm surprised if you tuned your car with just the afc and your ass dyno.

i used awd dyno wide band 02 and afc plus programmed ECU

A wideband is good, but you can't always run and hop on the dyno whenever you want.
