2G Another head gasket?

I replaced my head gasket and resurfaced the head of my 1996 Eclipse GST back in 2013 and drive sparingly in the summers since then. I took it out of storage a few weeks ago and took a few short drives and noticed that the temp sensor shows it is overheating after ~10 minutes of driving. I drained and filled coolant and "burped" it, noticed that the heater fan motor was clogged with crap likely from rodents over the winter. Cleared that out but still overheats with new coolant. Do I have another blown head gasket? Is it common to go again so shortly after I replaced it? Could it be something else?

have you check the thermostat?

Make sure the fan turns on. Feel both hose of the radiator. If the top hose is colder, then replace the thermostat.

Thanks, I'll check the hoses. I have two radiator fans but have seen only one turn on, should they both run?

I know the drivers side fan is for your a.c. but not certain if it comes on with or without the a.c. on. Here's some homework.

Ran it for a bit today, temp gauge held just under half for the first while then jumped to about 3/4. I checked the radiator hoses, top hose is extremely hot, bottom hose is cooler. After a 15 minute drive, there were bubbles coming from the dip tube in the coolant overflow tank.
