Another FMIC ebay question with link.

I have just about the same kit on my ride, intercooler fits just rite so i can keep my crash bar. Its a descent kit for the price and you can always get a bigger intercooler later and still be under $200. Slight modification is required tho but nothing too serious.

Aside from the j-pipe, you might also need a flange for the bov, mounting bracket and possibly another coupler that reduces to the j-pipe.

To note, with that kit. It seems the pipe routing would be long.

I would just save a little more for either a punishment kit or vrs kit. Can't go wrong with either one.

Save for the VRSF or PR. I paid under $300 for my VRSF shipped and it's a quality piece. Something to think about with that eBay kit, the piping if you cut it will need a bead welded, or flared to prevent your couplers popping off, J-pipe as mentioned and I would be concerned with the quality of the beat t-bolt clamps. I ordered some a couple of months ago for my intake and they stripped really easy, and I wasn't trying to over-torque them... I ended up having to junk them.
Many people have said that the eBay IC's have worked for them, but I think it's like playing roulette with a blown engine.
That link you posted is right close to $200 with shipping right? Another $100 and you could have the VRSF and none of the problems stated above. Also some of the parts you have to take off the car you can sell on the classifieds (stock side mount, driving lights, ect...). I only had to trim my crash bar on the VRSF kit, 90% of it I was able to retain.

I bought a kit similar to that for my first IC kit, but it came with a fake G-reddy BOV and a pipe flanged to fit it. I had to cut and bead all the pipes. It was also a bit less money. When I finally looked at my IAT readings in the upper IC pipe I realized it did nothing to cool my charge temps. All I still use is the couplers, clamps, and a bunch of the pipe from my kit.
