looking into the connector of the coolant fan switch, wich is positive and wich is ground?

also is it possible to move the switch from the radiator to the thermostat housing without any issues?

Switches just do on and off, so it doesn't really matter if you switch the positive side of the circuit or the negative, or what direction the current flows. You will want to isolate the switch with a relay however, because the current needed to run the fan would fry the switch.

As for moving the switch, you can if it's the same thread size, pitch, and type, but the fan would run more often. The coolant in the bottom radiator tank has just been cooled, while the coolant in the water outlet on the engine is hotter because it is just exiting the engine.

Just compare the threads closely, because if there's an O-ring to seal the sensor to the radiator, it won't fit in the head. The hole in the engine is NPT (pipe thread).

Good luck, But.

Ok,thankyou,My plan is to cut the stock car side harness for the coolant fan,and wire the two wires to the switch and the other two wires to the fan so it will come on like stock, since my radiator has no place to put the switch on it.
