Ok i did some research on FMIC and wanted to go with Greddy, but thanks to these forums came up with 3 reasons the Greddy kit was the kit not to go with: 1. 'Pepsi can' durability, 2. 1.75" piping on one of the pipes, 3. Doesnt come with Tial flanges or no Throttle body pipe.

Ok so from what i gathered from that thread was that AMS, AGP, and SBR were the way to go, so i decided to go from 'the best' the AMS FMIC. BUT before i do i want to let you guys know iam going the GReddy TDo5h/18g way so i have a few questions, sorry if they are noobish but hey my GReddy turbo is one month away(getting it in December) and want to have the intercooler before then. so here goes my questions:

1.Which AMS FMIC would i get(like the full name like Greddy 18rkit)?
2. What comes with the AMS FMIC? and i would like the full list
3. Will the AMS fit my stock front bumper? or better yet im planning to get the Aerotrend Cyber kit('99 front bumper) so will it fit that?

The AMS FMIC will require cutting of the bumper support and removal your fog lights. It comes with upper and lower piping to the throttle body. the lower pipe is designed to mate up with the outlet of a T3/T4. Meaning that it will run along the backside of the radiator and stop directy below the turbo where the 90 elbow of a T3T4 would be. if you are using a TDO5 Turbo that requires a J-pipe you will need to make up the difference in piping. All couplers and clamps are included. This same core on several different cars has been pushed to well over 650 whp.

I have a quick question about FMIC in general. There's two different kits the kind for the upfacing turbos and the down facing turbos.. say I want a 16g now, and a 50 trim later, do I need two different FMIC or does the J-Pipe allow me to use an upfacing turbo on a downfacing FMIC kit? (Referring to the Dejon Tool FMIC's)

You could run smaller aftermarket units, of course, it's a little extra money.

Eric i would also like to know if there is a thread/article on how to take of the bumper support, a 'how to' installation guide. Also to the rest of the forum, is Sport Compact Car a trustworthy site to order from? i like their pay per month payment plans but am looking for more details as in do you pay the whole thing before you get the product or you get it then pay? just wondering how that would work. More important is if they are trustworthy

I have never heard of Sport compact car as a store. I know that I do not sell any of our product to them.

I do not have a how to on the IC but I can try and mock something up for you.

Are you saying 'if' the TD05 requires a jpipe or that it 'does' require one? if it does where would i buy that pipe? Also just an update xmas delayed my turbo BUT as of this post i should be within 2 weeks of getting it. i will post before and after pictures of it also to AMS 2 things, 1) after the turbo the intercooler is next and 2) i emailed you guys about this and you guys said it would be updated but on the new site you only have the EVO VIII intercooler listed not the 2g Eclipse, does this mean you dont have it? or can i call to order it? will it be the same one that you mentioned?

anyways also to update everyone i just got my Injen Intake for the stock BoV so i can recirculate my new Greddy Type S BoV!! im waiting on the turbo to put those babies in and along with the AMS intercooler im getting the Blitz BLM series Boost gauge, finally my project dsm is finally taking shape!
