8.969 @ 155.22 mph!!
This past Friday Ivan and myself took a day off and went to Greatlakes Dragway to make some passes in my Mirage/Evo 1. I recently put on a vacuum pump for the brakes to help hold the car back on the line and also put in a new shift box from Roadsurge.
The car was originally a 94' Mitsubishi Mirage 2DR. If any of you ever wondered where all of the AWD parts went from our old EVO 1 Outlaw car project this is where. It was converted to AWD Automatic with a 4G63. It has a 2.1L AMS 6 Bolt in it along with a IPT Automatic transmission. Everything was built here at AMS from the roll cage to the manifolds. And then to top it off I put the complete Evo 1 front end on it.
It is still a very streetworthy car, it has almost the entire interior still in it with the exception of the passenger side seat. All of the windows are still glass and the doors are completely un-touched, the windows still roll up and down. It also is still sporting a completetely stock EVO 1 IRS rear end.
The videos are of two of the passes I made that day, one being a 9.39 and the other the 8.96 pass. The car began breaking up at the big end of the track so im currently working with Sparktech to get a ignition system put together for the car.
After I get some more weight out of it and get my Sparktech ignition things will get very interesting.

I just noticed that your 60ft was a 1.4. Was this expected, or did you think it would be lower?
