amp for components

Umm, one that fits your budget and features and wattage your looking for. As most things, comes down to the money, the more you can spend, the better options you have.

You can go with a 4 channel amp so you can have all the speakers in the car amped (front and rear). Some people don't even run rears if they have a sub, or they run them but having them amped doesn't seem worth it because they are tuned down for the correct sound stage just to serve as rear fill.

If I could do it over, I would have just got a 2 channel amp for my front components, usually 2 channels are cheaper. Or if you can find a cheap affordable 4 channel amp, bridge it to make 2 channels to increase the power output for the front speakers. REally several different configurations are available.
