Am Thinking of a Complete Rebuil. Where should I start my search for purchase???

I want to rebuild my 4G63 Completely.

I dont know where to start my search at or who sells a rebuild kit for the 4G63 since I only have the car for 5 weeks now and have a busted Head Gasket and Possibly needing Rings aswell, so I decided to just rebuild the dang thing since I dont know for sure its condition (internal) my compression read as follow ( 140 - 140 - 85 - 0 ) I know something has gone bad a whole lot of white smoke. Anyways, I want to rebuild who online sells a good priced rebuild kit????????? is for the 1G AWD. Thank You!

I noticed that ebay has a 4g63T rebuild kit on there. I'm personally rebuilding my 1G to
and I've just been picking up everything piece by piece ex: i got a set of 4g63T .020 over pistons with rings for $100 and b-shaft elimination kit for $20 all the (gaskets head gasket and up) for $75

good luck with the rebuild i'm tearing out the engine today.

top-line engine kits have been realy good to me,my kit was about $450 bucks and that was the complete kit. It cost about $15 bucks a hole to bore,I went to yahoo and typed in "top-line engine kits" and went from there,it takes a few beers to find the best deal.

the most trouble i had was the oil pump;the oil pump cost $165 to $210 bucks and u have to know if your car was made early in the year or late in the year;two different styles;I found out the hard way,just ask my wallet.I just rebuilt my motor,it has 1300 miles on it.I did alot of over-nite shipping,just want to give u a heads up,everything else went great,good luck

engine performance warehouse;thats were I got my kit,but it was through a buddy who is an engine builder and has a contact ;a loop hole if u will

Why don’t you save yourself a lot of troubles besides money and go talk to your machinist before you buy stuff left and right.

Help out here guys I have a 50 trim t3/t4 for sale if interested great price still in box brand new never used only taken out of box to check it out, I need to rebuild this motor soon and selling would be my only option in order to buy this rebuild. PS. I just need to rebuild quick my other ride is at the body shop and I am taking ride to work it sucks it all happened quick for me to quick.

take your motor to the machine shop,u wont know what size bearings u need till they tear the motor apart and measure the clearance of the crank,u might have to grind the crank and thats another $60 bucks.
