I asked this earlier in another topic, but I didn't get enough responses. I found quite a few websites that can supply a 4G63T like www.gomotors2.com, www.engineplace.com. But I was more leaning toward gomotors2.com. They seem like they might be trustworthy. Go check it out. Give me some advice, and tell me what u think of each of them and maybe even point me in the direction of a few other engine sites.

Hey i just bought a JDM engine and got screwed. WE are currently suing the company that i bought the engine from. But some things i learned.
Buy from somewhere where you can go and look at the engine you are going to buy.
Make them do a Leakdown test and / or compression test IN FRONT OF YOU... Check the turbo, move the fins,, see if there is any play.
Take off the oil cap and look at the condition of the head, see if there is alot of black carbon buildup..
I hope that this will help you in purchasing a engine.

I would reccomend not buying from a internet company. You have no way of knowing what condition the engine will be in.

So should I just go with American Engine Installations? They can find me a remanufactured engjun but I have to find a turbo, either broken or not for them to put it on rebuilt . They're right here in my home town. It comes with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty on engine and turbo and I've heard some good things about them. Plus, I was quoted at 2300 for new engine and turbo with installation like a week and a half ago, so I guess someone picked that engine up.
