I have the following mods.....walbro 255, stock injectors, 2g mas w/ dejon intake, apexi n1 3 inch exhaust, apexi downpipe, evo exhaust mani, evo ported 02 housing, Fmic w/ custom piping, but on stock turbo.

my a/f gauge says im running rich, but who knows how accurate it is. Is it time for me to get tuned??? Or should i wait til i get injectors, my turbo, and a egt gauge.

ill be getting these real soon. Just wanna make sure my car wont "f" up by running it like this awhile. I dont drive it hard, i baby my car.

running rich wont f anything up. wait until you get the things you listed and then get it tuned. also something to tune it with would be a start ;)

255 is too much for the stock injectors. Even in the future if you plan on getting....say 550cc injectors, a 190 will supply sufficient amount of fuel. With that 255, it is over running your stock fpr and causing you to run rich. Have you shot a big flame out your exhaust yet under boost on a 3rd or 4th gear pull yet? If not, you will be soon enough.

With the 255 if you plan to keep it, I would recommend getting a AFPR for it. I love the Aeromotive that I have, I highly recommend it. I am running it with my 680's and a 255. Besides serving a purpose, it looks cool under the hood! :thumb:

Find a logger or something to log and find out that-a-way.
But the way the setup sounds you are running rich.

BTW: I agree with this post. Do not tune with your a/f and egt gauges, they are more for monitoring and making sure they are staying where they are supposed to be, after you have it tuned. Like he said, get a logger/palm and tune with your fuel trims, knock, etc.

With the mods you have, you should be beating most cars on the street anyways, I would just run rich till you get your bigger injectors, then have it tuned on the stock 14b. Bigger injectors, plus leaning it out is going to yield you some pretty good hp gains.

thanks for your input guys....

By the way, what injectors should i run???

ill probably end up getting an evo 16g....should i get 550's or 660's???

im told if im gonna run over 20lbs to get 660's, is this true

I would definately agree if your going to run that high of boost then just jump up a step in injector sizes. Another reason is you also have the extra fuel adjustment capabilities in case you decide to step up turbos or even get crazy with the boost.

660's past 20lbs of boost
550's under 20lbs of boost
