Almost a real member but have a few questions

I think I may have found the right car, but I just found out that it doesn't have A/C. How difficult would it be to reinstall A/C in this car. It's kind of hard to live in GA and not have A/C. To my understanding, it was removed when the owner had the engine rebuilt. It also needs a head gasket. It this something that a couple of car guys can replace.

Not to be rude but ya if you got someone that knows about cars to work on it a head gasket isn’t nothing to replace... Can get gasket at local auto part store (Make sure you get gasket sealer also!)

Now for the A/C.. first thing I would do is hunt down the missing parts.... Junkyard... (Make sure lines aren’t damaged or it wont hold the pressure) And umm take a trip to Vfaq.com for a diagram.

To what extent was it "taken out"? If he pulled all the hoses and the evaporator, condenser, and accumulator, you're in for a fair bit of a job. If you're not getting this car at a steal, I'd say to look around a bit more.

more details please, what year/model. and how much is gone from the a/c, what condition is the car in. how much do they want for it????
