I've got the motor and tranny completely out of my car. While it is all out and easy to work on, i am doing numerous things that will save me a few headaches down the line. One thing that used to give me problems, was the clutch system. After looking at how much of a mess the metal bent line was that runs from the Master Cylinder to the Slave Cylinder, i am thinking about replacing that whole line with a nice stainless steel braided line.
Are there any problems in doing this? I know there is a little canister lookin thing on the front of the tranny that the metal line goes into, then it runs to the slave. What exactly does that do? And can i just bypass it?
So basically, i want it to go like this.....Master Cylinder ----->Stainless Braided Line----->Slave Cylinder. Nice and simple.
Thanks
