ok, i just replaced the head and put the timing belt on and connected all plugs and hoses. I started the car and it ran fine...seemed like the rpms were a little high for idle though. so then i shut it off and finished putting back on all the other covers, belts and brackets. Then i went to start the car again and it just cranked. i checked, and have no spark now all of a sudden. anyone have any ideas?

are you sure you plugged up the coil connector on the driver side below the intake plenum? It's kind of a rounded off triangle looking plug.

Also, what procedures did you do to check to see if you had spark that led you to the conclusion that you didn't?

yeah the coil connector is plugged in, and i just grounded the spark plug wire and tried starting the car and there was no spark.

I have the exact same problem no spark watsover just cranking and cranking but no spark. any ideas ??
