I just wanted to know if the non-turbo 6 bolt and the turbo 6 bolt front engine covers are the same. I just picked up a 6 bolt and the cover has a crack in it. Thanks in advance.

They're the same. :dsm:
Yup. On both. But yes, there is a front cover(case) and the timing belt cover and I have used both from turbo and non turbo. :thumb:

I'm talking about the cover that the oil pump bolts up to, and where the balance shafts pass through. Thanks for the response, since they are the same i should have no problem finding one at the local wrecking yard, thanks guys.

If your looking for an oil pump ROCK sells a nice front case and gears for 150$ and I love mine oil pressure has definantly improved over factory. It was a nice piece compared to the dealers 300$ for just the gears.

I used Baker Import Auto Parts 770-988-8584
They are a ROCK supplier and I had them ship it to me since Atlanta is 3hours away from me. It was like 136 or so then like 20$ shipping for it and my full engine gasket set which I must say was top notch. The front cover comes with the gaskets and seals already in it. I believe the owners name was James ask to speak with him and make the arrangements real stand up fellow. I dealt with them because the president of ga.dsm.org used to get ROCK products from him for his own auto business.
