Gents, i got an alignment done.?WHY? this is a big deal?, because its the first time in over 4yrs this car is moving under its own power, so as things come near completion for my build i have changed some things.............................. blah blah blah. So with this info i'm thinking i can get away with a camber kit in the front that provides 1.5 of adjustment to reach specs unless anyone objects? Or recommends a different level of adjustment. And what are you guys using? i like the idea of the ball joint but what the hell lets discuss this.

And in the rear i'm super close should i leave it as is? or should i add more washer; i'm using STM rear camber long bolt kit. I already have 4 washers installed on all the bolts, would adding one more be pushing it, would it get me closer to spec? Again any suggestions are more than welcomed.

*Oh yeah apparently i have a AWD spyder ? News to me.*
One last thing ignore the "toe" front right, needs to have inner rod tightened.

so, i need positive adjustment (Adjustment Range +1.5° to +3°) cool. So am i right to assume that this kit starts at/re-adjusts upon install, +1.5 and can be adjusted to +3.
how have they held up? do they hold or do they lose their adjustment?

how many washers in the rear are u using ?

pull the control arms off and take them to a machine shop to have them pressed out. the new ones should just slide in and you can adjust them from there.

i have a press, hey man i gotta ask how does it ride? do you feel any contact. I ask because i have read in many threads that those "funky ball joint" are the devil. LOL.
mostly i have read this only from one member who has frequented the topic, and i prefer to hear from some one who is using them..

Just get longer bump stops. Thats all I did. Problem solved. Get a used set and cut them in half even. You just need like a 1/4 inch more to prevent contact. After I did that, no issues. My front camber is about -0.2-0.4ish and my rear is back to -1.0ish

to be honest, this is the first im hearing the word bump stops.. So i Googled it, and this is a description: Bump stops keep your struts from crashing into the body of the car.

Im still not 100% were they even go with this thread as reference. Im looking for a thread that shows how you did it.

EDIT: i think they sit inside the shock,, i wonder if stock suspension comes with those or if those are aftermarket only. ill have to look at my car.

Are you talking about using the bump stops to raise the suspension!?

As someone who used the SPC front upper arms with the adjustable ball joint, I can tell you, the ball joint is too tall, it pushes the arm up and into the strut towers. If you don't race your car you may be OK, but it's close to .75" taller than factory IIRC.

Bump stops are supposed to be used to limit the suspension travel, not try and lift the car. That's the spring's job. All he's looking to do is prevent the nut from smacking the inner fender well, and we are only talking like 1/4 inch.
