I had recently purchased some Blue aftermarket hoses from a site vendor here, and they cannot hold any pressure whatsoever :notgood: . I am not going to even attempt to put them on my fuel system or cooling system, especially if it can't even handle air pressure. They said they will meet or exceed all stock OEM specs, so WTF ? I didnt even buy this from eBay, and it's acting like garbage, so are there any GOOD, reputable brands out there to replace my entire vacuum and fuel lines? I know to stay away from auto stores garbage a$$ lines, but where else can I get them? I don't see why they sell them and people buy them, and they dont even work, and since I have cut them already, they won't take them back. Oh well, trial and error.... :talon:

I have one of the kits from High Temp Silicone. They come in several colors, but more importantly, they are extremely resistant to ballooning, kinking, or collapsing. They can be bought through Verocious Motorsports (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/verociousmotorsports/)

I was going to go with them as well. They seem to have nice bundles and parts seperate.

They Balloon in some spots, and in others they pop off, and I have them clamped or tied down for safety, and they still pop! WTF I spend all this money on this, and it doesnt work. I am very pissed about this, I just wanted to do a little customization to my car, and BAM!!! garbage a$$ parts once again.... I thought this was supposed to be legit, what should I do, look at my engine bay pics, and the blue hoses on there, they are the ones popping and ballooning, after all that money...... wasted.... well, are there any other recommendations for a legit kit? And do they use SAE or Metric sizes?

It doesn't matter, metric or standard. They will fit with some tugging/shoving at the connecting points. It's not an exact fit, they are supposed to be a little tight. And yes I believe they are metric.

NEVER try to use ANY vacuum line for your fuel system! The lines are NOT meant to withstand 50-100PSI. They WILL burst, and you'll likely set your car on fire!

Whether or not they'll work for your cooling system could be hit or miss - most vacuum lines won't stand up to the heat.

Use vacuum lines to replace other vacuum lines... nothing else.

OBX sells pretty good upper and lower silicone radiator hoses for $45 or so; it comes in the color of your choice.

If you want to upgrade your fuel lines, the only way to go (pretty much) is braided SS. I have yet to see color matched rubber upgrades.

Yeah what velocita said. Vacuum lines to replace vacuum lines not fuel and cooling system hoses, and ss braided lines for fuel, and obx for upper rad hoses and lower rad hoses, dsm parts also has ss braided radiator hoses that imo look pretty hot.
