i recently bought a 95 gsx and im new to the forum. I just installed a turbo xs RFL bov. it worked fine for a day but then the check engine light came on. i've heard that its bad to vent to the atmosphere and all but how can i fix this without getting a new BOV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if it'll have any effect on the CE light, but I'm not sure. It'll keep you from running rich between shifts, and therefore slightly improve gas mileage. There's tons of BOV venting threads, so I won't get into that too much here.

Any time. Keep us updated on the install of the recirc kit and if that fixes your CE light problem. You can also try just unhooking your negative battery terminal for a few minutes to clear it, but that will reset the ECU-- the car will need a day or so to "relearn" the fuel trims and idle speed.

i disconnected the battery and like u said it reset everything and the CE light is off. I will let u know how everything works out with the recirc kit.

yeah deff make hte recir kit...blowing ot atmostphere is bad very bad....you should of known this cuase of like a thousand posts about how bad it is...good luck
