well i see the stock fog connectors, is it possible to just splice the wires of the old connectors with the wiring with the aftermarket fogs so that it turns on via the oem switch?

Or do I have to mess with the fog and alt relays like vfaqs said?

Yes, you should be able to use the existing wiring. I have installed aftermarket ones and they worked fine with the factory wiring and switch.

Ok perfect. So how would that work out?
### I plan on cutting the connector off.

However the fogs Im looking at getting(pilots rectangles, like 25 at autozone) have a ground and one hot wire leading off of them.

Whereas the connector for the fogs have to wires coming into it.

Should I splice both wires off the connector into the one hot wire coming off the fog, then ground it?

Ok you have two wires coming off each fog light so hook them to the two wires at each factory connector. One of them is power and one is ground. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but it should be an easy hook up.

Nah I think we're on the same page. Heres a quick diagram to be sure.

The black line coming off the fog light will be the ground.
The ground will be spliced into the pink wire, and the green will be spliced into the blue wire.
Thats what youre saying right?

Unfortunately I think they're may be something wrong with my harness, there's probably a lose connection somewhere and I really don't want to trace it back to the fog switch and the relay.

So here's my question to you all, in your opinions what would be the best way to use the factory switch and be able to turn the fogs off and on regardless of the headlights or anything else for that matter. However, they must automatically turn off with the car when it is off.
There are four wires going into the factory switch, is it possible to manipulate them some way to toggle the foglights independently of anything else
