Aftermarket alarm horn location

Where are some of the places people put their aftermarket alarm horns? My installer put mine above the driver side engine mount and I'm looking for some ideas on where to relocate it to.

When I got my car, it was screwed to the passenger side shock tower, pointed down. This was a 1992 alpine alarm system. I'll be removing that and tapping a new alarm system to chirp/alarm my new-to-the-car hella horns, like a modern car's alarm.

Are you using the hella horns for both your horn and your security alarm?

Yes, just like a new car would.... or at least that's my intentions. I have yet to wire up the horns or the new alarm system I purchased, but that'll happen this winter. Have to relocate the battery to the trunk first, then get the interior back together, etc etc.

If you are able to wire it to the existing factory horn I would think that that is the way to go!

Put it above the cv axle/subframe behind the block on the firewall.

Mine is located near the air filter as I have a cone one so there was plenty of spare space to do so.

I pUT my super loud horn for my alarm and command start by the intercooler location (side)

My Ford dual tone horns are mounted in the spot that used to belong to my ABS unit..
