i still have stock 450's in mycar but i traded it for my old car. the guy who had this car before me put in an afc. go figure. any way i just replaced the fuel pump witha walbro 255lph. can i zero out the afc? he had the afc maxed rich. +50 all the way across the lo and hi setting. dont know why. he said he didnt want to run too lean and mess up the motor cause he has the motor built up.

1. Check your MAF, if all the honeycombs are still there, zero out the afc. If not, replace it.

2. You will need an afpr for the 255.

3. Something isn't right, how can your car be running at +50% across the board, I feel that the seller is hiding something. In any case, I strongly suggest getting a logger and find out what is really going on.

The stock fuel pump was fubar and wasent supplying enough fuel. The only way to keep the car running normally was to richen the entire board. If it was zero'd out , it would sputter and stall. Raising it +50 brang it to normal cycling range on the a/f guage. When it was zero'd out the led wouldnt even show up on the guage.

The fuel pump was swapped out and everything works fine now from what I was told.

Wow whats the chances of me finding this thread.
