afc/vpc combo or afc/maft combo

i searched but couldnt find the answers i was quite looking for.im going to get an afc for my car but i cant decide if i should use it with a vpc or a maft.ill be running 660cc injectors or maybe even bigger with my rs49t.

now my question is.which one of these two combos will be more easier to tune big injectors with?

and which combo out of the two will give me the best results?

I'm not gonna be a sheep like everyone else that sees anything about tuning and the first words out they're mouth are "Get Dsmlink" If I were you I would figure out what size injectors you want and go eprom chip and safc if your real set on tuning with the safc which I think is a very underrated way to tune these days. With the VPC the problem is that it's discontinued and will be hard to find and piece together with the 660 chip and the problem with just a maft and safc combo is timing seems to be advanced to much cause they are both typical piggybacks. I personaly am going safc chip AND maft combo but the Maft is more for performance then tuning in my setup as you don't have the restictive stock MAS which equals faster spool and yes you can vent your bov but that isn't so I can hear my bov like a ricer that's so I can run a tial whcih for my turbo is one of the only bov's that will handel 30psi from a 65lb/min turbo and of course you can't reroute a tial bov.

i want to go with 660's or 720's.the reason why i want the maft or the vpc is to get rid of my 1g maf.i was looking into getting an eprom and getting a chip.but i just want to see what some people are experiencing with these particular set-ups.i know that with the 720's i will have a hard time dealing with timing.so your basically telling me to get a chip to map my fuel trims ,and tune with the afc.since the maft will just be to remove the 1g maf and allow more air flow...

Yeah that's the best way to do it because you won't have to worry about timing advance problems and you will have all the benefits of the chip(2 stage,NLTS, raised rev limit, extended maps ect...) The maft and gm maf is a great setup for performance but not the best for tuning.

so then im just gonna go ahead and get me an eprom within the next few weeks and get a chip to compensate for 720 injectors.i was looking into it due to the fact that i want a 2-step.thanks for the fast responses ,you made me come to a decision
